From the entrance to the Room with the Fresco a visitor would have seen a wall painting on the opposite wall, to the right of an entrance to a further room.

The painting was situated above and beside a low platform or altar in the corner of the room and divided into two registers in an architectural setting.

Below, a female figure holding up two bunches of ears of wheat faces the altar and is accompanied by an animal.

Above, two women face each other. The one on the left is dressed in a long cloak and the one on the right wears the bodice and tiered skirt typical of Mycenaean representations of women.
