Graves between the Lion Gate and the tomb of Aegisthus

Excavation in the 'Prehistoric Cemetery' directed by A.J.B. Wace uncovered over 40 graves, of which a few such as Graves III and XXIII, still contained several vases and other objects.

A relatively large proportion of these graves appeared to be those of children.
